Hi today I’m going to write about the changes I would do to my study program.
I am studying
dentistry and I am in second year. In first year I had the typical subjects
like Anatomy or Biology and of course these subjects are important. But I would
remove a subject called “society and culture” because in my opinion this
subject was very humanistic. Now that I am in second year I have simulation
that is an important subject and diagnostic too. However, I have subjects called
Psychosocial and Anthropological Bases of Health and Evidence-Based in Dentistry
that I think are boring. And I think there are classes that there are not necessary for
this career.
Some years ago
the lenght of the career was 5 years and I think this was adequate.
I have had online
teaching during these two years but I think it is not too bad because I have
more time to study and I can wake up a little bit later, hahaha. Nevertheless,
this week I went to some classes in the university and I learnt a lot and also
I understood many things that in my house I couldn´t.
The use of the
technology was so hard to learned for me because I am not good with that, so I
am still learning.
I think the
teaching methods that teachers are using are good but I woukd like more
personalized classes of 6 or 7 students because I am a shy person so I am not
used to speak much in groups.
Thanks for
Reading!
I agree with you about the subject called Psychosocial and Anthropological is very boring jajaja. And the same thing happened to me, I feel like I learned a lot in 4 days of face-to-face classes
ResponderEliminarHello, I think that nobody likes such humanistic classes, we wish we had more practical classes since they are very useful but it is true that by having online classes we can wake up a little later hahaha
ResponderEliminarI think same as you, when we went to face-to-face classes I really learned a lot and things that online I couldn't , for example, learn to place the dental burs in the turbine haha
